HIGH-profile AFL broadcaster Rex Hunt broke down on radio today as he issued another public apology for his infidelity.

Opening 3AW’s pre-match coverage of the Richmond-Adelaide game, Mr Hunt immediately had a croaky voice as he spoke for several minutes.

As other commentators then took over, Mr Hunt’s crying could be heard in the background.

After regaining his composure, Mr Hunt spent several minutes taking calls from listeners, most of whom were supportive.

Mr Hunt had already gone on radio with his wife Lynne after revelations he had been involved in several money-for-sex arrangements with women.

He said today the hardest challenge for him would be work through his guilt “and just look people in the eye and say ‘yeah, I stuffed up’.

“I’m a public person, a private matter became public,” he said.
