The Border Mail reports on 3NE’s battle to retain advertising on Wangaratta Taxi’s in wake of a ban on all external advertising on Taxi’s in Victoria. Advertising on all cars at Wangaratta Taxi’s 11-vehicle fleet had to be removed by the start of this month or otherwise fail a mandatory roadworthy test.Wangaratta Taxis president Mike Sadler said the advertising would return immediately if a court ruled in favour of advertiser 3NE.


Laws banning advertisements on taxis were adopted in 1994 but only enforced last year.3NE signed a contact in 1992 to advertise with the taxi company until 2027.
