Pacific Star Network, parent company of Melbourne radio stations 1116 SEN and 1377 3MP has welcomed MR GEORGE BUSCHMAN to the Board of Directors, while MR BARRIE QUICK has been appointed the new title, Chief Executive Officer.


Mr Buschman initially joined Pacific Star as a consultant in November 2005 to oversee the integration of the SEN radio business with that of  3MP and continues to assist the company with strategic advice, programming, and recruitment.

Andrew Moffatt, Chairman Pacific Star Network, said 'With the AFL season approaching, this appointment adds to the strong calibre and experience of the existing Board and provides seasoned radio industry experience to support our continuing push to drive ratings and revenue for the benefit of shareholders.'

In recognition of his broad range of responsibilities for Pacific Star Limited, the Board has also endorsed a proposal to change Mr Barrie Quick's current job title from 'Group General Manager' to 'Chief Executive Officer' .Mr Moffatt said 'Barrie has been the most senior executive since joining Pacific Star Network Limited in March 2006. This change in job title reflects the Board's satisfaction with Barrie's execution of the company's strategy to date, and clarifies the responsibilities of the company's most senior employee.'

Both changes take effect immediately.
