SIRIUS Satellite Radio will work with Frank Sinatra Enterprises to create a new radio channel dedicated to the music, time and spirit of Frank Sinatra.”Siriusly Sinatra”, a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week, commercial-free channel, will air recordings covering Sinatra’s entire career, as well as other artists from the big band, swing and traditional pop genres.

In addition to featuring regular segments of Sinatra music, “Siriusly Sinatra” will also feature a weekly show hosted by Nancy Sinatra featuring rare live concert performances and special archived material.

SIRIUS and the Sinatra family will create “The Chairman’s Hour”, a show hosted by the deceased Sinatra himself - made possible by editing existing recordings of Sinatra’s spoken word and music.

The channel was unveiled today but the satellite radio service did not announced an official launch date.

While alive, Frank Sinatra received 13 GRAMMY® awards and holds the distinction of singing on the first Billboard No. 1 single, “I’ll Never Smile Again” from 1940 which sold 900,000 copies.
