A SLOWDOWN in the Sydney radio market could be the first sign of trouble on the horizon for the $12 billion advertising industry.Radio executives of AM and FM stations are reporting advertising revenues for March will be well behind those for the same period last year, and there are some reports of prices being discounted as a result.That follows a 7.9 per cent shortfall in the Sydney radio market in January compared with a 3.7 per cent increase nationally, according to official industry revenue figures.
