ABC 702 radio host Richard Glover is bringing a little bit of yesteryear back to radio from March 14. The ABC drive host will include a live studio audience for his very popular Thank God it's Friday segment on a permanent basis. It will include a mixture of comedy and music and all that listeners have come to expect whilst retaining it's unique level of randomness in in a one hour format. The program has enjoyed sporadic OB's at various locations including theatre's with great success over the years, making it permanent is the next natural step.

The segment is now over a decade old and has brought listeners many varied wits over the years including Tommy Dean, Lex Marinos, Anthony Ackroyd, and Noeline Brown - just to name a few. It has become compulsory end of the week listening and Glover believes it will further evolve with a live audience. Related article SMH
