Premier John Brumby has thrown his support behind Bendigo’s community radio broadcasters.
He has urged the Federal Government to recognise the benefits of locally-produced content and the importance of local information reaching people in isolated areas.

In a letter to the Minister for Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy Stephen Conroy, Mr Brumby said the Victorian Government attached great importance to the service and effect community radio had on the wellbeing and everyday lives of Bendigo residents
