We have lost two of our finest in the last week Bob Moore former 2DU Dubbo mornings passed away on the 12/08. Graeme McGuinness ( Chine ) ex 3MA passed away in Mildura on the 10/08.

The fine tuning of 3MP’s on air team has done more thanthat. 3MP sound as though they have tweaked the transmission and as mentioned here before it is great to hear Steve Curtis brining early evening to life! Peter Blight is great in afternoons and Shawn Cosgrove is sounding fresh in breakfast along with a recharged Jane Holmes in mornings

Get A Bit Fair Dinkum has long believed Steve Price would walk away from 2UE breakfast by the end of this year. Word reached us today on three fronts that Steve may be getting an on air partener! Names mentioned include Jon Harker, Peter Fitzsimmons and John Stanley. Southern Cross currently have a two hander in all other breakfast talk sessions!

Heard from many people today that Greg Evans may be teamed with Sam Kekovich and another rumour is Greg is actually going to 3MP.
Radio heads back from mid year break

Most presenters and announcers returned from their mid year break today with the odd exception. Peter Van is filling in for the holidaying Ward Everaardt at Magic 693 and that completes the circle for Peter having recently covered all shifts. Rob Elliott is still on leave at 3AK and Yvonne Adele is off on 2 weeks holidays.

Merrick and Rosso are rumoured to be switching from their breakfast show (on Nova) to a drive time show which will be networked across Australia and if not a packaged program to go to air in states other than Sydney.
