DMG Radio Australia have announced the appointment of Jenny Parkes to the position of Group Sales Director. Jenny joins DMG from Austereo, where she has most recently held the position of Director of Sales, Sydney.
Jenny also performed the role of Acting General Manager at 2DAYFM and Triple M for eight months in 2009.

3MP breakfast host Shawn Cosgrove presented his final program last Friday, 26 March 2010. John Tamb and Peter O'Callaghan are soldiering on at the station. Mark Johnson, Group Programme Director of both 1116 SEN and 3MP, is also covering Mark Irvine's afternoon program while Eddie Olek pops up for the evening program.

Melbourne's newest radio station, Classic Rock 91.5, is working overtime to get their music mix right. PD Dan Bradley to his credit has been quick to respond to recent comments, good or bad on the old Vega web site and he has now invited the listeners to pitch in and help.

CRA RELEASE: An ad promoting two television programs on SBS, Mythbusters and Man vs Wild, has won the overall and single categories for round five of the 2010 Siren Awards. The ad called “Back to Back” was written by Danny Wehbe and David Roberts from agency US Sydney. It is the second time an ad for SBS, created by agency, US Sydney has won in the 2010 Siren Awards.
