It's Sydney's No. 1 radio station but staff at the already morale-depleted 2GB are feeling worse after their boss's attempt to pep them up spectacularly backfired. Instead of allaying fears that three presenters could lose their jobs, acting CEO and Macquarie Radio Network chairman Russell Tate made them feel like "dead men walking" in an email to staff after a newspaper report suggested evening host Philip Clark, night host Brian Wilshire and mid-dawner David Oldfield faced the axe.
