2Day fm breakfast presenter Jackie O has spoken candidly with magazine New Idea in reference to a number of controversial incidents encountered by herself and co-host Kyle Sandilands during 2009.
The New Idea article centres around the on-air rape revelation scandal aired on 2Day fm breakfast last July, for which Kyle Sandilands was publicly reprimanded by radio bosses. It was after this incident that she considered giving up her career.
"You would have to be an ice queen not to cry about everything that happened, but you can only cry so much before you pick yourself up and say: OK, what can I learn from this?" she tells New Idea, out today. "Many times I've thought it's not worth it, many times I've been tempted to walk away."
