Staff at Brisbane radio station Nova 106.9 got an unexpected Melbourne Cup Day surprise this morning when they arrived to find their Teneriffe headquarters converted into a makeshift race track, complete with live ponies.
One-hundred and thirty square metres of the green stuff was laid across the station's sprawling reception area overnight and the equines brought in this morning, when they were taken to the building's third floor via a lift.
