With the decision made that will see Tony O'Reilly's Independent News sell their 39 per cent stake in APN, owners of the Australian Radio Network, it will be interesting to see who puts their hand up to buy it.
Reports that Seven Network are not interested and Macquarie Group are not keen either leaves the question will the radio and newspaper group be broken up?
If that was the case there would no doubt be a number of companies, prepared to grab hold of either the business groups.
Take ARN for example if that was available, now that opens up a pandoras box that could change the radio landscape across the nation.
What does the future hold for ARN?
