AFL commentator Grant Thomas, has been sacked by radio station 1116 SEN. The former St Kilda coach was told today by station boss, Barry Quick, that his contract had been terminated because of financial reasons. It's believed, however, Thomas' constant ridiculing of umpires and the AFL was a concern to league officials who have voiced those concerns to 1116 SEN management.
