John Vincent passed away in his sleep this morning with his family by his side. Concerns for his health were raised when he was admitted to Royal Adelaide Hospital late last week. John was 67.



Tributes are flowing in across the industry such as the following from 5MMM's website 'Today we mourn the passing of John Vincent who died after a long illness. John was at the forefront of the FM radio revolution in the 1980s and became a household name on Adelaide radio.

He was the 'ring master' leading a group of personalities in The SA-FM Morning Zoo which had the highest breakfast ratings achieved to date - 36.6% in 1989.

He was on Triple M breakfast from 1996 to early 1998.
