After the relatively refined comedy of Tony Martin, it has been a bit of a shock for Ed Kavalee to adjust to his new role with the freewheeling Akmal Saleh and laid-back Cal Wilson - and an even bigger shock for his mother. Kavalee says his mother stopped listening to the Nova radio drive show a few weeks ago after hearing his story about bringing a woman back to his St Kilda pad, only to be interrupted at the wrong moment by a housemate.
