All shifts including mid-dawns are going to have to an announcer live to air with stations having a minimum number of 6 daytime jocks. With 3AW now referring to themselves as Melbourne's Own you may find yourself asking - 'where have I heard that before?'
If you said when Bert Newton was in charge of 3DB you would right.
Between 1986 and 1988 the station was known as Melbourne's own 3DB, the new beginning. Of course 3DB went on to become 3TT, later TTFM and now known as MIX 101.1.

It has now been confirmed that Ash Bradnam is no longer a member of Brisbane's Nova 106.9 breakfast team. Up until now it had been understood that Ash would be returning to the show at some stage. In January we reported Nova have released a statement confirming Ash still is very much part of the station. “Co-host Ash Bradnam is still on break from the breakfast show and Nova 106.9 continues to support him on his road to recovery,” it said. This clearly is no longer the case.
Ash Bradnam went into rehab for an alcohol problem after being pulled over for drink driving around two hours after finishing work in October 8 2009.

Melbourne's own 3DB oops 3AW

With 3AW now referring to themselves as Melbourne's Own you may find yourself asking - 'where have I heard that before?'
If you said when Bert Newton was in charge of 3DB you would right.
Between 1986 and 1988 the station was known as Melbourne's own 3DB, the new beginning. Of course 3DB went on to become 3TT, later TTFM and now known as MIX 101.1.
