Mark Holden has 'resigned' from season 6 of Australian Idol. As it stands Idol will return to a 3 judge scenario when it kicks off later this year. 2DAY FM breakfast co-host Kyle Sandilands will retain his spot on the program as will Vega 91.5's Ian Dicko Dickson and perennial favourite Marcia Hines.
Holden will actually stay with Channel 10, however he wants to take advantage of new and past opportunities including acting, radio and documentary production.
