John Blackman and his wife Cecile were tonight interviewed by Tracy Grimshaw on Channel 9's A Current Affair about his amazing Christmas Eve mercy dash. John collapsed at home on December 24 last year and was found lying next to his desk by Cecile. Cecile swung into action and John was soon transported to The Alfred Hospital by ambulance where it was discovered he had a brain tumour the size of a golf ball.
